HACCP - Food Hygiene

I'm doing a Level 2 HACCP one day course in Food Hygiene. I do some voluntary work for a charity that deals with food and I cook at home but I'm doing the course because I would like to work in the food industry.

Does anyone have any feedback on what sort of jobs I can apply for once I complete the course? I'm not just looking at cooking jobs, I'd actually be quite interested in working with food and hygiene but don't quite know where to go from here. Any information would be most appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

HACCP Certificate at level 2 would be a basic introduction to Food Safety, but would legally allow you to work in the food industry, restaurants, cafes, etc. If you would like to work more in the food hygiene side of things you would need more qualifications and just as important experience.

If you have completed your course apply for a job get some experience and try an area in which you might be interested in working in.

As you learn more, get more qualifications, and then you would after a few years be able to become a trainer after all suitable qualifications have been completed successfully.

I am a trainer check out my website for further information <mod snip - no advertising, thanks>

    Hope this helps
