Go to the customer service desk of the branch you left the card in. See if they've found it or can transfer the balance to a new card if you still have the receipt.

If it's a Dunnes card you're probably lucky.

If you left it on the counter just go back to the shop and talk to customer service, you might get lucky and if you don't then you're down €180. What other ideas could be offered to you?

Happy enough to leave the store and not take the card with you
Happy enough to post thread in wrong forum (Consumer issues forum????)
Not happy with replies and becoming condescending to others.
    Congrats!

To accuse people that they're not able to "survive in the real world" after you come onto an internet forum to ask a stupid question is a bit weird.

People who say AH isn't helpful need to look at this thread and have a long hard look at themselves.

If I walked out of a shop and had left something behind, my firststep would be to call back to the shop looking for it. Not sure how asking on here as a first course of action would be a better idea.
