Parents Filled up car last night in the garage between navan and trim. Drove to cork and car cuts out all of a sudden.
Mechanic came and got them going, inspected the diesel and is all cloudy. He said it's bad diesel!
So avoid getting fuel there! Too cheap to be true

I know exactly who your on about. They've been done for measuring and laundered diesel a few times.

A local chap wrecked his then 6 month old merc with their crap. He filled there exclusively. They pretty much told him it wasn't their diesel (suppose it's a very tricky one)

Even their green diesel is sh*te (often thought it was measured, we've a tractor to run) and it's not been on sale this past 2 months

    AVOID this place

Their fuel comes from a supplier in North West co meath. Seen the supplier truck there quite a few times.

Hearing a lot about bad diesel lately. Is it just diesel batches or is it petrol too?

    Too cheap to be true

    Yep. Not worth it tbh.

How cheap we talking out of curiosity?

That's not too cheap tbh, there are a couple of "branded" stations that sell for around 142.9-143.9 near me.

In an old daysul car I would be tempted to drive to that place and tell him - look, we both know you sell washed diesel. So sell it to me at the agri price :P

I go out of my way to buy dear diesel. Always from places we do maintenance work. We're dear but legit, so if they use us, they are too. Repairs cost a lot more than saving a few c on filling up. And bang in a one-shot of 2-stroke oil with your fill of diesel. Your injectors and pump will repay your kindness.

Car is running like sh*t and sometimes won't start since filling up at the garage in Donabate. Rang a friend out there to ask him if he uses them and sure enough his diesel Avensis had to be brought to the garage last week because it wouldn't start. He said he's since found out that loads of people out there are reporting similar stories & won't use the garage anymore. Its hard to prove stuff like this but its highly likely the diesel there is bad.

    Mickey Mouse,

Why people fall for this "cheap" fuel astounds me, if its too good to be true. It is...

Then start a fresh thread instead of digging up an old one.
This thread was about Trim, yours is about north Dublin.
