What Mileage is on the Car ?
Has the clutch been replace recently ?
The release bearing is only in use when the clutch is depressed.
I never came across one failing to destruction.
All Items can be purchased separately.
But if it's annoying you you have time to budget for a three part Kit.
But is not going to let you down in the short time.

€ 250 all in would be a competitive price.

Just coming up on 96,000mls i would doubt it ever was replaced.
Thats a relief anyhow that i have some time to save up.
Is it a job that can be tackled by myself, or does half the car have to be taken apart? :)

It might save me more hassle in the longrun to just buy the kit and have it fitted.
I plan on driving this car until its a dead duck.

    Thanks for your help

Unless your handy and have a pit or a lift its not worth it.
The gear box has too be split from the engine.
Shop around for a garage fit for € 250 or less.

This will give you an idea:

Ha ha well that is certainly way beyond anything i could do.
And if that is the same job that has to be done irrespective of fitting just a bearing or the whole shebang, ill have to just get the clutch done.

Thanks very much for your help, you have been fantastic, boards is brilliant, and i always get great advice.

    Thanks again
