    Mike Murnane is expected to be appointed the Interim CEO of the Irish Greyhound Board following the resignation of Adrian Neilan.
    Mike’s appointment was approved by the IGB at its meeting but it has to be ratified by the Department. This is expected to be no more than a formality.
    Mike joined the IGB a couple of years ago and has greatly impressed in his role as Chief Financial Officer.
    The CEO position is expected to be advertised in the near future and it is hoped that the new CEO will be in situ by mid-Summer at latest.
    Adrian Neilan, incidentally, completed his terms with the IGB on Friday and is set to take up a new position in Trinity College.
