Motherboard/PSU issue

    Kids pc not turning on

    https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5KPL1600/

    And an Antec 500 watt PSU.

    Motherboard onmboard LED is flashing when connected but nothing happening, anyone any idea how i can figure out which one is at fault. Considering i have no spare motherboard or PSU to test with.

    Try re-seating the RAM sticks, i.e. take them out , put them back.
    It's worth a try just to eliminate them as a problem first.

    Also worth checking all other cards/connections are seated correctly.

    Removed and reseated, still nothing.

    Was hoping to get a beep out of the motherboard but still the blinking led :(

    Hmm...
    Try unplugging everything, except the power, keyboard & monitor, and turn it on.
    Sometimes a USB port can be drawing too much power and refuse to turn on.

    Also, looking at the manual, the LED that's flashing looks like it's the standby power LED?
    Could the PC just be in standby?

    Try hitting the space bar on your keyboard or clicking the mouse to wake it up.
    If not, unplug power for a few minutes and try again.
