    Anybody got any of these?
How would they respond to high input systems?

I dont think they are as likely to get milk fever as a Fresian would. Ive a tiny bit of experience with them they are docile enough and they re milk output is on par with a fresian I.M.O

Father crossed herd with they some 20 yrs now big and heavy but not much more than hol, expected improvement in solids but just held the same, great feet and improvement on scc, black pigment in hoof still carries through to this day
Calves were the dummest slow ignorant fu@kers to feed still rember the hardship to this day
Think they are more suited to a high yeidling high input system

Thanks. Just exploring some options. Hols here with me and 2 (or3!) problems..
    fertility, feet and solids.
Friend here had some and had the same problem with calves. Bulls are off the farm at 8 days. Heifers go on auto feeder at 3 days, could this be hassle ?
