Irish credit card benefits

Does anyone know any credit card companies in Ireland offering benefits like purchase protection and extended warranty?

I was just having a look around at credit card offerings in other countries and I am amazed the amount of benefits that can be had. Irish offerings pale in comparison. Many UK and US credit cards and charge cards offer extended warranties and purchase protection on the things that you buy. Some even offer accidental damage and theft insurance on purchases. And then there's online shopping discounts at places like Amazon, and cash back benefits.

Do any Irish providers provide these? I don't mind paying a reasonable yearly fee if I have to but as far as I can see, the Irish get the short end of the stick as I can't see anything comparable. Travel insurance seems to be about the only thing on offer, and the banks advertise it as if it's the second coming of Jesus.

Added value Irish credit cards are a disaster. I've been looking for ages and would pay a fee, but there's nothing to be had.

BOI Platinum Mastercard offers travel insurance if you pay at least 50% of the cost of the holiday with the CC and for hard goods, the card includes insurance which covers you for up to 6 months against theft or damage.....

AIB Platinum Visa offers 0.5% cashback but not much else that I can see ...

Tesco Visa card gives extra tesco points for every purchase:

Converting tesco points you might get around 1% of cashback on tesco vouchers.

There is nothing else interesting on credit card market in Ireland.

AIB Platinum card offer 0.5% cashback if you spend over €5,000 in a year (up to something like 50k). The max you can "earn" back in a year is €225. They also offer global emergency assistance when you're travelling. They can help out with emergency cash, help you sort out a lost passport, provide contact details for doctors/solicitors where ever you are, and help with a translator in an emergency.
