Getting from Tyrrellstown to the city

    Invited for a few beers in town and new to Tyrrellstown Boulevard area...I know the 40d runs every couple of hours, but wondering if there are any other routes into town

    A friend of mine gets the 40d regular and thinks its great. It's every half hour on a Saturday. Don't think there is another one though.

    Just checked. Every 40/50 minutes around 8 so still not too bad.

    You could walk down to Mulhuddart and get a 38A or get the 238 to the shopping centre and hop on a 39/39A but there'd be no point when the 40D goes straight to town from there.

    Also would not advise walking down the park from Tyrellstown to Mulhuddart in the evening time on your own, there's been a good few reports of muggings/attacks in that park.
