I live in the city (Dublin) and don't like running when there's lots of people around so usually 5 to 6am, or 10 to 11pm.

    7 am two midweek runs
When I get up two weekend runs, could be 7, could be 9 (unless there's a race)
5 pm two midweek runs, and 8 pm the other

As soon as I can of a weekday evening.
9am when the parkrun starts on a Saturday.
Whatever time the race starts on a Sunday, or mid afternoon.

Looking at my recent diary entries, I've ran as early as 05:17 and as late as 23:33, but the norm is 7am and directly after work 6pm and generally out between 8 and 9 for weekend runs.

Anytime between 7 and 8.30 these days. Can you find a park or a nearby playing field? I didn't like running near the roads either but it's pretty dark out so I don't care anymore.

I like to go morning myself (hate getting up but normally grand once I get going). I tried to be on the road by 7am but lucky that work is only 3 mins away.

For those who run in early morning, how do you handle the frequent frost on the road?
