I was confused that you were posting an offer on Friday for an offer that was in a Thursday paper. I went in yesterday to buy Thursdays Irish Independent and they didnt have it.

In today's Sunday Independent too if ya wanna buy the paper to see the ad for yourself ....mind you the indo is gone up to €2.90 which would mean the case if beer would cost you €16.90

Is this a relatively new thing, where bottled beer multipacks have now 300ml bottles? I notice same with Carlsberg and others. I was sure they used to be 330ml bottles.

Pubs sell the 330ml but off licenses generally 300ml. Am guessing its to prevent pubs buying the 300ml bottles on the cheap and making massive profit on them.

just picked one up there now in supervalu dun laoighaire because I had to go down anyway. 1 was all i could carry !!

Blackrock must not have the offer because they are still affiliated with superquinns?? I don't know and I don't care anymore either! :P

Only the last year/year and a half I reckon. First I saw was miller cases then Bud. Always on the cases however which are on 'offer' never the 6 or 10 pack.
