New 70D on way

    Just thought I'd share.

I have decided to stay with crop sensors as the extra zoom suits me. I had a 60D and for a while I was toying with the idea of switching over to Nikon. But after selling the 60D and humming and hawing for a few months, I've decided to stay with Canon.

I already have a Sigma 10-20, a nifty fifty and I have ordered a Canon f4-5.6 55-250 IS II with the camera. Its a very cheap budget zoom but getting great reviews for the money. It'll do me for a year until I can afford something a little better.

I was pissin about with grey markets, ebay sellers and what have you. But in the end I decided to buy both camera and lens from Amazon. Few quid more but safe as houses and it assures Canon's warranty etc.

Happy bunny, can't wait to hammer some scene with all those delicious 19 cross type AF points.

    :D

How are you finding the 70D so far, I've been toying with the idea for the past few months, gonna be 6d or the 70d, cant make up my mind whether to switch from crop to full frame.

Weather's been so awful I have not had much of a chance with it. But it's a beauty. If you are going FF, I'd wait for an improvement on the 6D cos it's focusing system is not the best. If you value extra focal length in all your lenses then go with the 70D. I love its focusing system - awesome. I love the WiFi (liveview and exposure control on my mobile phone). I love the touch screen. Beautiful camera.
