As with every year, I'm working on getting something special for boardsies. When you buy your ticket, put 'boards.ie' in the field marked 'Where did you hear about this event' so we know who came from boards. I haven't got anything lined up yet, but there's been free beer and free food in the past... also entry to an exclusive raffle for NFL Wembley tickets and stuff. I'll post updates here.

Anyway - here's the official info:

It's that time of year again.....

The Super Bowl returns to New York as the NFL stages its first cold-weather Super Bowl in an open-air stadium on February 2, 2014 and the Rebels will be bringing you Dublin's biggest Super Bowl Party.

The Dublin Rebels have teamed up with Harry's on the Green to bring you the original and best Super Bowl Party in Dublin. The venue will be transformed into a heaven of AV Multimedia with the big game being shown live in HD on multiple TV screens including a massive HD projection screen. Harry's will be serving food ALL night until the early hours of the morning to help kill those half time hankerings and Harry's on the Green will be running plenty of drink specials like buckets of beers. Exact details will be announced shortly.

And lets not forget the very famous and sexy Dublin Rebels Cheerleader will be there on the night doing their thing

The tailgate party starts at 8pm with DJ Sean Harley, Competition and prizes on the night. Including a chance to win your very own DUBLIN REBELS JERSEY!!

Ticket price is only €10 plus booking fee. As this is a fund raising event all ticket proceeds go to supporting the Dublin Rebels in our 2014 season, so thank you from us all. All ticket holders will be placed into a draw to win an Official Dublin Rebels jersey just before KO. There will be many more raffle prizes up for grabs on the night also/

As with every year this is a sell out event and admission will be by ticket only. Tickets will not be available on the night so book early to avoid disappointment

Please note when you book your tickets online, after a short processing period you will receive an email with your tickets in PDF format. You will need to print off your ticket and bring it with you to gain access to the event. If you have not received your tickets within 24 hours of booking, please check your spam / junk folder. Entry to the venue from 8pm to 10pm.

What's the story with this? The game goes into the early hours, right? Does the bar still serve?

Way over sold last year. Arrived two hours before game and couldn't move. Also took an age to get served at the bar if you wanted anything other than a bucket of bottles.

Hi all - sorry about the radio silence this year. I've been off the radar for the past two weeks. There are less than 50 tickets left for this event. Order tickets via Eventbrite:

With regards serving, there shouldn't be a problem drinking til the final whistle. There wasn't last year, even with a 90-minute delay in the middle of the game!

Regarding the event being oversold... numbers are strictly limited to the capacity of Harrys. We sold out last year, and will again this year, and it was a full house. Packed and a great atmosphere, which is exactly the sort of event we want to create. I had a great night last year (and I'm a Niners fan)!
