I'm looking for a cheap alu frame/bike in a smallish size. My current bike is 54 with top tube measurement of 53 and I have always felt a but stretched out on it and so it has seen very little use in the last 4 years as I mainly use my TT bike during the summer. I don't want it to sit around any longer so I am looking to shift it or swap it for something that has a max 52 top tube length (ideally a bit smaller). If there is a full bike out there it would have to be at least Tiagra.

What I have is a 2006 Giant OCR2 from new. Bike was a Tiagra/Sora mix but has been upgraded to full Tiagra over the years. It is 9 speed triple alu frame with carbon fork.

Hey Zip. I'm 5,9 but I don't like the reach on a standard 52/54 which typically have 53-55 effective TT lengths. Getting low is not the problem it's just that when riding on the hoods I feel like they should be about 2" closer to me.

Was also thinking that I could build up a TT frame that has a short reach. Open to try anything as long as it fits.

    Hey,

You should do is try a shorter stem first and move the brake/shifters back a bit, that might sort out your problem, maybe fit compact bars also, that would shorting the reach,
