Payment Confirmed over 10 days ago Hardwareversand. Time to worry?

I had a bit of hassle with the first 2 times i tried to order this build, as it's for someone else and they couldn't pay using Danske bank. In the end I reconfigured and paid for it myself. - The first two were cancelled.
I had emailed them a few times and received no response.

I ordered it on the 23rd and paid for it on the 28th of December.
"Your payment conclusion via Prepayment was confirmed us." - Came on the 30th.

But it still says that. It hasn't changed at all. I know sometimes they take quite a while, but that's nearly 2 weeks ago now. Should I be getting worried, or has anyone waited this long before, for it to go through anyway?

with the back end of christmas plus new years plus delays due to the weather chances are it's going to take a few days longer then usual I would say for orders to be fulfilled

It's happened me before, some item in your order has gone out of stock and is holding it.

    Thanks.
Yeah, I'm hoping it's the Christmas backlog and some items may have run out of stock.
I'm not in any mad hurry for the order, just don't fancy it expiring and having to reconfigure it all over again (Using the 5% off trick posted here by F7Z). I've dealt with them a few times before, only around 5 or 6 max, but previously it seemed really quick and without problems.

In the order confirmation link, it says:
we are very pleased to receive your order placed at our hardwareversand.de Online-Shop.
The sale contract accomplishes with our delivery. If you do not get a delivery confirmation or a delivery within two weeks, you are not bound to your order.

Would they cancel it after two weeks?

No that only applies if you make an order and never make the payment.

I'd just ring them up TBH and hope the few english speakers are in the office, its the only way to get them moving along. If you know what part(s) of your order are out of stock try identify a closely priced in stock alternative and ask them to swap.

I paid for my PC by bank transfer on the 4/1/14 and payment was received on the 6/1/14 and has been dispatched. So unless items are out of stock there doesn't seem to be a xmas backlog/delay.

If it was dispatched you would of received a ups delivery code.

Yeah its on its way.Just pointing out to OP I had no delay.

Thanks, I'll give them a ring tomorrow. I'm only home now and doubt anyone there now anyway.

I was hoping it was a backlog.. :( - Less likely now, but possible. I'm not fond of ringing them, i don't seem to get English speakers..

I rang them. It was a long phone call.. (Probably cost me a fortune).

My Monitor isn't due back in stock until next Friday, and they're not sure if/when this will be back in stock - Transcend MSA740 128GB

So i said I would change that. She told me that if I am ordering a different one, to avoid any beginning with AL - as they are having trouble with that supplier or something. (Some of it became jumbled in translation).

So, if anyone is ordering, best to avoid anything that begins with (HV)AL.

HV at the beginning must be HardwareVersand AL

Still nothing, no email, not a thing... >:(

Are they always this terrible when they're delayed?

I've had to do all the contacting, and they said it would be dispatched last Friday..

I like their prices. But as far as customer service goes they suck balls.

Yeah. I've dealt with them before, but never had any problems. I had no idea they were this bad.

It's going to be at least February before I get anything. I don't want to cancel, as no guarantee a new order will be any faster.

Was looking and HVS and built a few machines, but was unsure about customer service etc. Can anybody recommend any other suppliers with good pricing..

I will never use them ever again.. This is ridiculous. I got through to them, the guy I got to speak to was an ignorant f***er, and no help at all. I think it is being shipped on Wednesday.

I followed one of their 'partner' links on their site, and it brought me to this page - http://www.schottenland.de/shops/Haendlerbewertungen

HardwareVersand are the only store with ZERO stars.. :(

Worst shop for a long time! Be careful! Pretend there is and delayed then!

Report on hardwareversand of wild asked by the 21.11.2013 experience

After the delivery of the iPad air was 32 GB with two days, I ordered. After five days I asked then look where is the goods and you wrote to me with a one day delay, that it would take probably a little longer. The delivery time indicated on the order page but not adjusted so that this fraud to the bear comes. I now have criminal charges threatened my money should not immediately reversed is. Then me written only tersely, that it would cancel the operation. On the order page, nor on my account I could discover movement so well tomorrow, I have to a criminal charge because I probably otherwise not be to my money. I can recommend everyone, to order from this company, it is because man wants to wait on its goods if it comes at all, or his money chase. This is my worst experience with a shop for years.

If you have a tracking number, then it's been shipped. Those tracking numbers are (AFAIK) generated by DHL, so it is in fact on its way to you.

HWV seem to be a bit slow lately. Mate ordered parts on the 19th (all in stock), payment confirmed on the 21st, shipped on the 24th.

Could be worse, though. I'm currently trying to sort out a warped motherboard with Pixmania.

Seems that the CPU cooler is attached. Did come out of the box like that?

No. Only fixed it on (on a flt surface) before putting it into the case, to ensure other bits worked.

That was someone else from the link. They seem to respond on that website, so I may post something there about my issue.

Yeah, I noticed afterwards. You can click on the shop and get a load of reviews. Overall they do pretty well, but their most recent orders seem to have problems.
The most annoying thing (for me) is that they don't respond to emails, nor keep you updated in general to the status of your order and any reasons it may be delayed.

    Looks like extended christmas holidays.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,381 ✭✭✭✭Allyall

Yeah possibly. Annoying all the same. This isn't even for me, so I have the person asking me for an update all the time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,381 ✭✭✭✭Allyall

Finally received it on Thursday. I had also opted for them to assemble it. :( - My own fault, it was €5, and I thought it would save me some hassle.

It shut down three times on Friday. USB ports on front of case didn't respond and they didn't install the Cooler Master Pro.

I had to disassemble most of it, and found that if they used thermal paste it was miniscule. They hadn't attached the front of the case (Except the power board) to the Motherboard.

Monkeys. I won't be using them again.
