I have an old colour photo take in 1960's 3.5 inches square with a white border

I want to photoshop it and increase the size but it pixelates if i do. Is there any thing i can do?

You need to scan it at a higher resolution. How are you bringing it into photoshop? High quality scanner or even a high resolution photo under controlled conditions is what you need. If you scan it at a low resolution you can't make it any bigger.

Crank DPI as high as it will go. 3.5 inch is a very small photo so there is only so much you can do with it though. If you could find the negative you could squeeze a lot more from it.
