I am writing a crossover fanfiction and I need to know more about the Infinite Crisis till I can buy the comics. I'm beginning with the first voume in Countdown to Infinite Crisis. What I am interested in knowing is how many superhero teams there are and who is on them. Can anyone please tell me that? Of particular interest is the Justice League and the Teen Titans.

    Can anyone help me?

The internet is here to save the day.

Should be a wealth of data here to get you started.

I've tried researching via the DC Comics Database, but it is so confusing and hard to follow. They never actually state who is on the Justice League at the beginning to Countdown to Infinite Crisis, which is where my fic begins, and there's so many superhero teams and they're on so many different ones throughout their lives that it's confusing. Can't someone just tell me?

Why would someone be writing a fan-fiction story based in a universe they admit to knowing nothing about?

I actually know only about the earlier Golden Age universe. I'm trying to get into the newer universes and I DO intend to buy the comics, but I need this information just to start off so I can begin putting together the plot, until I can buy the comics as I said. Now is ANYONE going to help me?

Have you checked out your local libary. Blanchardstown has several of the IC books.

Ngreater as not a big Dc event fan. Be a start till you can get the books.

If it's Fan-fic why does it matter as to the line up? You're going to do what you want to it so pick the characthers you want and run with it.

People who can help more. May be along shortly so you'll just have to have patience till they do.
or give the leg work another go. Comicvine may be a bettwr spot to ask as they have a greater traffic about comics.

Let's be honest here - DC at that time was effectively doing continuity porn of the most tedious kind. There's an awful lot of convoluted nonsense in which readers were expected to know all the backstory to understand the latest Shocking Twist. If you try and read it without that knowledge, it's easy to get lost - I found Countdown to Infinite Crisis surprisingly readable because it focused on one character, Ted Kord. Then it established a whole bunch of other confusing nonsense, killed off Ted and launched not only the event itself but also 4 tie-in mini-events (the Rann Thanagar war, Day Of Vengeance, Villains United and the OMAC Project). Then the event itself was rooted in details of continuity relating back to the Crisis on Infinite Earths from 1986.

If you don't actually know the story or setting in mind-numbing detail, I don't think that people telling you the rosters at the time is going to be enough help to write your fan-fiction, at least not if you want it to be readable to people who are familiar with those comics. IMO Your best bet is going to be reading the comics (perhaps try Comixology or other digital retailers, if you're lucky you might get them at a discounted price) and start from there.

Well, I just finished researching the DC Comics Database, and here's a list I compiled.

    JUSTICE LEAGUE
    Superman (Clark Kent)
    Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
    Martian Manhunter (J'onn J'onzz)
    Wonder Woman (Diana Prince)
    Captain Atom (Nathaniel Adam)
    Hawkgirl (Kendra Saunders)
    Captain Marvel (William Batson)
    Elongated Man (Ralph Dibny)
    Batman (Bruce Wayne)
    Firestorm (Jason Rusch)
    Hawkman (Carter Hall)
    Mr. Miracle (Scott Free)
    Supergirl (Kara Zor-El)
    Aquaman (Arthur Curry)

    TEEN TITANS
    Starfire (Koriand'r)
    Cyborg (Victor Stone)
    Superboy (Kon-El)
    Hawk (Holly Granger)
    Wonder Girl (Cassandra Sandsmark)
    Speedy (Mia Dearden)
    Impulse (Iris West II)
    Robin (Timothy Drake)
    Dove (Dawn Granger)

Would you say this is accurate as to who was on or not on these two teams during the time of Countdown? Again, I'm more of a Golden Age fanboy, and I will be buying these comics next month so I can better understand the new age of superheroes.
