Getting on well but could there be problems?

I'm in the same boat myself but we own a few properties and have a child together. We are getting on okay and have spoken about everything thoroughly so I know the separation will go smoothly. I just haven't gone to a solicitor yet as we haven't told anyone yet and he's still living in our house. He's moving out at the end of the month. Will that cause problems when it comes to the date of separation?

OP - I have given you your own thread as posting how you did is considered hijacking here - we prefer to keep each thread dedicated to the original poster.

Please have a read of our charter now if you don't mind.
