Well lads bought myself this girl for the xmas(off the fags 12 months present)& picked her up couple of days ago.Trouble is it came with 4 chokes with notches out of them.I understand the less notches the tighter the choke but just wondering whats best ones to put in it.im hoping to be shooting pheasant, woodcock & snipe with it. Got a cheap days driven shoot at end of month & would love to use it aswell.P.S shes a 20 bore. Also what cartridges do ye with 20 bores find best.Got a couple of boxes of VIP 32 gram 5s with it ?...

Woodcock and snipe,I would use open chokes and No7 shot maybe even 8,s on the snipe.
go up a notch for the pheasant and use No5,s 20 bores tend to shoot tighter patterns than 12,s
32grn loads are hefty in a 20 bore,28 or 30grm would be my choice. however it is a free world and each to their own.

the vips 5s are a good shell i use them in my 20 bore.for the woodcock and snipe 25 gram 7s i use.with 3/4 choke on bottom and 1/2 on top that should be alright for the shooting.but the driven day id go with tighter chokes hope this helps.ps their are great gun better then 12 gauge any day.
