    Hi all,
Haven't used bitlord in ages and I have just downloaded a torrent for some old tunes for an upcoming party.
Anyway, although I have seeders etc bitlord has not downloaded any files.
I am just wondering if UPC the ISP has blocked ports?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

They blocked the pirate bay website but the proxy site works no problem, torrents download just fine.

Like the poster above suggested, try uTorrent. Works just fine for me/is working just fine for me right now ;)

I get ya. I'm assuming there are plenty of seeders for the torrent? How long's it being acting up? Could be just temperamental.

well i have always used bitlord 1.1 but that did not open magnet links from pirateproxy so therefore i had to install bitlord 2.2.1 tonight as that had the ability to open magnet links.

i have just tried a torrent there with 3000+ seeders
    no joy?
i thought the isp had blocked ports so i changed them but that did not help.
bitlord is now set back to random ports

haha, you can also get rid of the advertisements by going to Options>Preferences>Advanced and typing 'offer' into the box and changing the values from true to false. Glad you got it sorted :D
