building under construction insurance

    I have recently bought a part built house scafolding still up ready for windows to go in.I am trying to get public liability and insurance for people entering and working on site but cant get any company to give me a policy,anyone with any simaliar problems or company that could help me.

    Generally an employed main contractor provide EL and PL for the site. If your talking about a self build setup, try a broker.

    try Arachas (google them) - of all the insurance companies i tried for my self build they were the cheapest and most flexible - also im sure they were the only ones who would entertain covering the build if it had already started (also had the longest insurance term)
