Lexus LS460 President

Unfortunately, didn't get chance to take a picture but I was stopped at lights behind a Lexus. It was an 07 or possibly 08 reg, LS460 - sweet. However, on the bootlid, before the LS460 badge, it spelled out "President" in what certainly appeared to be the same text/lettering as the LS460 badge. It was a whopper but wonder if anyone has any insight on this "model"? Hardly was the motor that carried El Presidente of Ireland around back in the day? Maybe it was someone who wanted to pose as the president?!!! Anyway, just thought I'd post and ask. Cheers

Its a presidential pack. I think Ben Dunne had an LS430 with this. Can't remember what you got extra on the 430 but the 460 has the self closing doors, electric roof blinds, electric memory rear seats, fridge and stuff like that.

I seen one on DD lately the 600 with that pack is the daddy though..

Excellent, good to know and thanks for the insight. I never quite followed the Lexus range to be honest but I do recall taking a liking at the time to the Lexus/Toyota Soarer when it came out - a rare sight these days mind and from memory, probably looking a little dated. Thanks again

Hi Shabbyalonso. I have one of these. The President badge is fake. The presidential pack was never badged. My Factory fitted 07 Presidential LS600HL is a monster. It comes as a 4 seater with recliners in the back with a rear centre console for the rear seat entertainment and controls for the seats / recliner / massage etc. Beautiful walnut trim level. 5.0 V8 hybrid engine combined power output of 438bhp. 4wd with the rear wheel drive coming directly from the electric motor. Phenomenal car. Ultimate in comfort and luxury. Priced when it was new €196,000 in 2007 it was ificially the most expensive Hybrid car in the world. Very few of these around. I am hoping it will become a collectable eventually.
