How to find date of manufacture of Ideal Boiler?

Hi
I have just had an Ideal Logic boiler installed and this is the serial number above. It is stuck onto the manual as you see in the photo.

Am I correct in thinking that the date of manufacture is represented by the numbers 13/10/04 as shown in the photo?

If so...is it the 13th Oct 2004 or 4th Oct 2013?

I don't think its a date, I would doubt very much if that boiler was even in production in 04.

Its probably an internal code they use.

I would say its oct 2013 as that boiler is only on the market here around 3-4 years
