I wouldn't bet on it! A racehorse that can't race - the burger factory beckons!

I reckon we will see him race again under rule 5.1.8.6 , any horse banned from entering future races can change their one letter of their name by deed poll and have their hair dyed.

    Come on Mad Goose.

A few days at Closutton might have helped him. He'd just be in awe and fascinated with all the flying machines and cats all around him.

Any reaction from the TDs or owners?

I'd be fairly annoyed, has been in the money in just under 50% of it's runs under rules.
Fair enough, he ran rogue last year but focusing on the non-triers would be far more beneficial to the sport.

Sad enough for TD and owners. The only horse that can go up the gallops with TNO apparently, they're losing a good, albeit crazy, animal. He must have had real talent for the patience they showed with him!

His flat career only started last year too, rate 98!

He'll still be able to go up the gallops with TNO sure!

Nah, I'd say he'll give up the ole running lark and hit the big time!! Probably turn his attention to Hollywood I'd imagine. Mad Moose for a Western!!

Terrible decision imo, he's a card, enjoy his twitter page, surely he's finished when his owners decide, which couldn't have been too far away anyway. Id be livid if I were them.

This needs a FB campaign methinks.

Makes you appreciate great horses all the more when you realise there are thousands of moody horses like him with no intention of using their ability and many more that are just rubbish.

My thinking behind their decision to ban him is that his unpredictability is perceived as a "danger". If he digs his heels in and refuses to race continously then he could easily turn on racecourse staff or run loose towards racegoers. A change of stable might help if it is reversed.

You make him sound like some sort of feared predator :pac::pac: Lion racing now that's something I'd watch.

    He's a mad moose....so it would be moose racing:D

Seriously though when a horse runs loose that horse can realistically do what he wants

They asked him about it on Morning Line and he was honest enough, he said the people backing Mad Moose are having a small bet on him knowing he may not jump off but if he does you are getting very good odds.
