    I can see it now. Some of the more experienced lads here will see it when they finish work this evening. Although I have come across ones that I didn't have any luck with.

    Ya it's a SIME alright. I've just found the original manual.The model is 1R I think. circa. mid 1980's

    Sime , a totaly inefecent boiler. Why there still made and sold is beyond belief ?
    Compared to "A" rated condensing boilers.
    Change it and save 30%+ on running costs.
