first floor surface

I am pricing up options as to what to put on my first floor joists. Either t&g 18mm plywood or egger 22mm chipboard. My joists are at 400mm centres hence the 18mm. Has anybody used the egger chipwood floor for there build. The plywood is coming in at 200 dearer so not much in it.
