    Evening all,

Just had a son and looking at sending him to the ET in Holywell or Swords. Can I ask for some experiences with either schools? I can't see any of the Evaluation Reports for Holywell (perhaps it's not open long enough?).

Also, any information on enrolment and class availability in September 2018 or is that thinking too far ahead?!?!

    Thanks.

Most ET schools and Gaelscoileanna have long, long waiting lists. If you are interested in a particular school, I would ring them ASAP and see what their enrolment policy is and get his name down ASAP, you can always remove it later.

Waiting lists don't have any legal standing AFAIK, although some schools let you register your interest. Enrolment can only officially happen within the year before Junior Infants.

My sisters kid got a place in Holywell ET and is really enjoying it. She hated her old GS as she was bullied a lot and the school did nothing about it wheras the ET has a really strict zero tolerence policy on it. She loves it.

How are ET schools faring in evaluation reports in general does anyone know?

Waiting lists are still allowed, nothing has changed there. Wabbit Ears, every school is different, there and good and bad ETs in the same way that there are good and bad other types of schools too.
