Gp card review again!!

Had another review send out in the post, to be filled out again, twice within 10 months..wtf..
Why do they give it to you for two years if they plan on reviewing it every few months..
Anyone else get a review letter?

Mine is up end of February and they wont send me a review form, life is soo unfair:D

Seriously though, did you change jobs or start a job, anything like that might have come to their attention.

Its probably the same as rent reviews and so on forms are sent out every 10 months to allow time for them to be filled out properly And returned before your expiry date comes and goes as happens every single year and its always the welfares fault for customers who forget the forms

The card is given for two years, not due to re-new till 2015, we applied in jan 2013 and got a gp visit card, was reviewed about 2 months later and now reviewed again...makes no sense

yeah same here, never heard of the word until all this hassle over medical cards, anyway apparently it means

Wish the government would apply 'Probity' to all their allowances, perks, pensions and travel expenses during this depression, fat chance of that though.

If there was no change in your circumstances that might have been flagged to HSE, it's very possible that your previous review reply and forms were lost in the system - hence the need to keep copies of everything, including their own filled forms, sent to HSE and to register the post.

It would have been suspended if they didn't receive it the last time, so I doubt its that.
