Theory Test - 80 Questions?

    Hey Yall

    Theres rumours going round my area that the theory test is supposed to be going up to 80 questions sometime in the new year from the old 40 .. Can anyone confirm this? because I looked around the web and this 80 questions thing seems to stretch as far back as 2009 so does anyone know whats going on because a lot of my friends have all rushed to do the 40 question one now?

    doesnt answer my question because its from 2008 .. I want to know if the test will change to 80 questions instead of 40 sometime in 2014

    The RSA site is from 2012 so not as old.

    This is asked every year since 2008 or so and hasn't changed yet, just a persistent rumour methinks.

    Depending on the category it could be upto 3 theory tests if its category C &D with cpc it is 100 questions on one of the theory tests

    and it does look to be BS because two of my friends passed their Theory Tests today and did 40 questions

    Car and bike???2 seperate tests nowadays,its was the 1 test in my day,a money racket!!!thats only the start of it

    Eh No , one did car and one did bike .. I think one of my friends did a bike and car one but had 80 questions because it was the two categories .. not 100% on that though

    I was making reference to the fact that if YOU "Hey Yall" wanted the car and bike you would need to do 2 seperate theory tests

    The theory test is changing later this year. The current one still uses edition 5 of the theory test book/CD, but the new one coming later uses the 6th edition.
    I don't have the 6th edition but if someone does maybe they can confirm how many questions is in the mock exam and that's what will most likely be the amount on the new upcoming test?

    Easons are selling them,one for categories A & B,another for C & D with cpc inclusive

    No change for car and bike theory although the they are now on separate disk Edition 6, content the same and 40 questions.
    The truck and bus IS changing. Theory test and Part 1 Cpc are being amalgamated into 1 test of 100 questions. Due to take effect late Feb, no confirmed date. Edition 6 for bus and truck is of no use to anyone doing Standard Theory before change so use Edition 5.

    essentially forcing newbies into doing the cpc rather than avoiding it????
