    Hey.

Am traveling up this weekend to race the Cyclo-Cross nationals and am wondering if anyone can give me a bit of info on the course:
Basically how is it holding up after the rain?
Is it a fast course or hard slog?
Is it a very technical course?
    Any info would be great.
    Thanks

Not sure if your being smart but i am wondering if anyone had been on the course in recent weeks and can tell me how the rain is affecting the course.

Purely tounge in cheek :) (although there are a couple of videos of the course, so you should be able to judge if they are technical or not)

seeing as how there were no responses to this thread, my guess would be that people haven't been on the course recently.

I'm just assuming (as with all CX races) it's gonna be hard.

I imagine that no one has been on the course in recent weeks as it is a public park...
So.. with the recent weather you can imagine that the ground will be "fairly soft" in places..

You could try and contact someone from the host club for further info.

Rode the same course as part of the Ulster series, Well designed with a great section of sand steps built into ie. one climbs, 3 sections of not overly technical single teack and wasn't very muddy back in Oct/Nov. some vice off camber sections and over all quite fast.
They have said they'll make some changes though for the nationals.

    Video of the course here

    Update:

Course is looking in great shape despite the recent heavy rain. Layout has changed slightly from the Ulster series race - sections in the trees have remained basically the same but the layout in the meadow has been reconfigured. Still rides fast, with more attacking opportunities!
But beware - after it's ritual humiliation at the Ulster race, Carnage Corner will bite back!
