    Hi

We are looking for a console for use with kids, dance, karaoke, fitness.

Would you reommend the WII U?
Do I need to buy a motion sensor seperately?
If I buy a motion sensor will I still need remote controls for dance game or sports? Someone said xbox is simplier for kids?

Where is the best deal for a starter pack at the mo? Will need a sensor too

    Thanks a mill,
    Im a newbie :-)
    Pix

I'd get a wii second hand. Check on adverts and you might get everything together including accesories and games. If they like it then upgrade in a year or two. Everything will be compatible (ie. games and accesories like wiimotes etc)

Just one thing I dont get yet. Does the motion sensor with the Wii U work like Kinnet for Xbox?
    Is it bought seperately?

Both wii and wii u come with one. There's also a trick to use two candles (I think, check google) Its differs t from kinect as you need the wiimote to use it.

The Wii sensor bar is nothing fancier than 2 Infrared LEDs that the Wiimote uses to determine its movement relative to the screen, a very clever piece of under-engineering IMO. The Kinect is an actual camera that tracks body movements using complex software etc.

The sensor comes with the Wii and from what I can see most Wii U packs except the very basic pack (white console, no games etc) (but that might have been discontinued?)
