I dyed my hair black over Christmas and it was lovely for the first week but is now looking super dull.
Any recommendations on a good conditioner/rinse for a shine?

In the likes of a salon services shop so like salon select reba flair ect. There is a flair in kilmainham you could try there.

That's unusual for black dye, I had black hair for years and it was always super shiny, used lots of different brands and never had a problem with it being dull, was it a permanent dye you used?

I got it done in hairdressers.
I had blonde ombre dye underneath so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it.
I just started using a new shampoo, maybe that's it!

Have you tried washing your hair with Grape seed oil? I find that it leaves my hair shiny for over a week after.

The Body Shop Beautifying Oil works really well on my hair - I use a squirt and rub it into the ends (and put any left on the rest of the hair). It works best on damp hair. I have super dry hair that has been abused over the years and this oil has worked wonders. It's around €12 for a bottle, which is small, but it lasts ages because you only need a tiny amount (and I have a lot of hair) and it smells lovely (comes in a variety of scents). It can also be used on skin but I find it great for my hair.

When my hair is extra dry, I use Aussie 3 Minute Miracle - does what it says on the tin and doesn't break the bank. You can get this in more supermarkets and pharmacies.

Got the colour bomb today thanks. Washed it this morn & I can't stop looking at it. It's nearly like a new colour. So shiny & black. Thanks for the advice :)

I dyed my hair blonde for a year so after I went back to being a brunette, my hair was extremely damaged. I tried the pro naturals hair repair system, a bunch of products made from argan oil, and my hair is super healthy now!
