Has any other poster got one of these bikes. If so could you offer feedback on it in terms of comfort, stiffness and overall performance. Also what are the stock wheels like?

i had a 2013 one. Decently stiff, good comfort and pretty good overall. I was around 85kg last 2 years and smashed it around 2 JTs and a few other stage races for good measure and I can say it never let me down. Stock wheels were awful, absolutley terrible but that may have changed in the 2014 model because they dont do the bike justice.

Thanks for the feedback XtotheZ. Just wondering aswell would you think a 58cm frame would suit me who is just a little over 6ft in height. Also if anyone else has feedback on the bike in question feel free to post your opinion of it. Cheers

I've a 58 and I'm a little over 6ft aswell ;) I had mine slammed for racing and it was perfect fit but should be grand if your going for a more upright position. Saying this aswell, I'm also selling a brand new 4.7 next week. Built with 105 instead of ultegra though

I have a 2010/11 one of these, picked up secondhand with a set of upgraded wheels. To me it felt just right, light enough and fast enough, and certainly laterally stiff enough (I don't like cycling on a noodle) to make me feel comfortable. I can generate a lot of torque and I can bend a few bikes laterally - I could feel an Anthem xc bike spring around under power..). I don't feel a lot of road buzz through the handlebars, so I think that my bike is nicely set up for my riding.

I've a couple of years experience on mountain bikes, but only about 700km done on the Madone. I've had no problems on this bike at this stage. The wheels I have are the Ksyrium Elites, and I've got Conti GP4000s 23mm tyres on it, with Ultegra calipers and mountainbike SPDs. I changed out the saddle from the Bontrager OEM for a Fizik that fitted my bones better.

If you get it at a good enough price, I'd say jump at it.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Going to order the 4.5 in a size 58cm. I can always get a shorter stem if its a little too much of a stretch:)
