Nissan Quashqai +2 - 3 young kids

    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions/experience for fitting 3 child seats into the 2nd row of a Nissan Quashqai +2?

Have 3 kids under 3 so would prefer to keep them all in the 2nd row if possible instead of using the smaller seats in the 3rd row (it's safer in the 2nd row and we also get to keep our boot space for buggys etc.).

One of the kids will need to be in the Isofix baby carrier and the other 2 are in child seats. The 2nd row really only has 2.5 seats so not even sure if this is possible.

Might have to consider trading it in otherwise.

If two of the kids are in Group 1 seats, then I seriously doubt you'll get them in there. You'll need to test, but we'd to get rid of a Honda CRV and get a proper 7 seater (and the CRV isn't small)

One newborn in the Isofix baby carrier and the other 2 are in Group 1 seats. They are too young to move to the smaller booster seats for year or two at least.

Only bought the Quashqai + 2 two years ago and has been an excellent car so would be a pity to have to sell it but looks like that is the only option.

Have had a quick look around and may be able to sell the Qashqai +2 privately and get a 2012 5008 in the UK for around the same price. The S-Max would seem to be a lot more expensive for even a 2011 version.

The only way to know for sure is to test it - but ISOFIX holds the seat in a specific place and gives less room. Also rear seats aren't really 3 seats, they are more 2.5.

The SMAX / Galaxy glass cars are a lot more expensive alright, but then you get a true 2 + 3 + 2 seater in that range. If it's too expensive, you'll have to drop the years or looking at alternatives.
