If there's 4 holes, 2 on each verticle edge, you need to stick a pin into each one to in lock the catches then the radio will pull forward.

As for the wiring diagram, if your buying a new radio there should be either a page in the box with one or else it may be stuck ontop of ye radio itself, if not google the name of the radio and wiring diagram and you'll get one!

Now the worst part, any new radio will come with ISO plugs attached, the ford definitly wont, but you can generally pick up the ISO plug leads in halfords or the local auto shop. What i did when i had i do it years ago was buy the cheapest adaptor lead, that went from some particular make of car plug to the ISO, and chopped off the car end, then wired this into the leads in the roof.

You will pretty much either have to work out whats what in the roof from the radio your taking out or by trying to follow the leads around inside the panel which isn't the easiest.

Oh and one last thing be careful of how much power the radio you put in has if your not changing the speakers, the old ones in the ap cabs wont take much and will rip if turned up to much with a high output radio! (Been there done that :(:( )
