    Is there a reverse ebay that could be recommended?

    I'm looking for a specific item & spending hours trawling the net looking for it. Would be so much easier to list it on a site & have seller come to me.

    Would an email alert be suitable? There's a few option. Or if you think you could source it privately, you could place a wanted ad on adverts or another site.

    That would possibly work. I'm scouring ebay daily (worldwide). Unfortunately because so many sellers mis-name the product or don't put as much detail into it, it can be difficult to find.

    In fact I found one, one day by accidentally mis-spelling my own search, totally lucked out there.

    I'm looking for the last two Xmas ornaments in a collection of a Waterford Crystal series. One of them, I've never found the year & another, I've been outbid on twice. I know they come up because they're viewable in ebay's completed sales list.

    Ebay has critical mass with auctions, I don't actually know who it's closest competitor would be (or why someone would use it).

    I tried looking for a waterford collector's forum (where I could place a want ad), but all I got was hundreds of thousands of ebay links.
