Springboard courses - worth it?

I am unemployed but hold a Bachelors (Hons) degree. Apparently I can do a further Level 8 HDip through springboard for no fee (all online too). Has anyone any experience of these and do you think it is worth doing? Also does it affect my JSA claim in any way?
