Manual handling course does it have to be through FAS?

About to start my apprenticeship as an electrician and need to get Manual handling course. Called Fas & it is fully booked up for January, plus it costs €135 euro. Called another company which costs €40 and I won't have to be waiting around. Does it matter if I do the course outside of FAS & get a certificate or does it…
