I've posted this in the motor forum with zero response, sorry if its in the wrong place but as it is an android device that i'm trying to view on a composite input I though someone might have ideas here.
I have an IS300H with no SAT Nav options. I can however access an aux video screen. I checked the manual and there is a 4 pole aux A/V connection beside the USB ports.
It seems to be for iPod video, I looked this up and it is a composite AV port. Not the best signal but better than nothing.

I have a HTC one it has video out via MHL so i'd get HDMI via a micro-USB to HDMI MHL cable.

I'd like to use the sat nav and video functions of the HTC one in the car (maybe it wont work when the car is moving)

But I think I'm looking for something to convert iPod 4 pole aux signal (3.5mm jack) to Micro USB via MHL on the HTC.

OR am i wasting my time?

    thank you in advance

something like this lead would be half way there

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Patuoxun%C2%...s=HTC+AV+Cable

and then connect this lead up to the car and join up the composites?
