Not sure if I did the CAO correctly

    Hi there,

I just set up my account on the CAO. I am 23 years old but I did not wish to apply to the course I wish to attend as a mature student. Rather, I wanted to use my leaving cert points. When setting up my CAO account I ticked Leaving Cert and I also ticked Mature Student seeing as it said I had to tick it since I was 23. But now it is telling me that since I applied as a mature student I have to send off postal documents and fill out sections such as employment history, etc. Do I now have to apply as a mature student or can I simply not send off postal documents and leave the mature student section blank and just go off my leaving cert points? I'm very confused and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Patrick

If you go back and uncheck the mature student box they will just use your leaving cert results as the basis of entry and you won't have to send them anything
