Going paperless

I've got to the stage where I've switched almost everything over to paperless billing/communications. We very rarely get post any more, unless it's a parcel.

The only thing we can't switch over is the annual mortgage statement, not sure why.

Cable, broadband, gas, electricity & mobiles bills are all downloaded & filed electronically, as are bank statements.

    The shredder is going rusty.

However, I was changing mobile providers during the year & had to provide a utility bill & printouts of electronic versions were not acceptable. Even though they issue (& encourage you to use) their own electronic versions.

So is it better to just get the paper & scan or keep going as is & eventually companies will accept them. I know which I prefer.

For some reason, only meteor inform you that your bill is available for downloading.

There'll always be paper. How would stoners be able to roll their funny fags otherwise?

Maybe they can scan it into their brains to get baked and then dribble all over their keyboards?

Or, you know, just use a pipe or a bong...

All my bills are paperless so if a company wouldn't accept it they would lose my business I'm afraid.

And when there's a cataclysmic global solar event knocking out servers worldwide, you'll wish you'd kept some paper statements about :pac:

As convenient paperless is. Try going to your mobile provider querying a recurring charge. "Sorry we only accept official bills not print outs". Its nice having a paper-trail. Plus, you get bank statements basically for free. If anyone ever asks for 3 months bank statements, the bank will charge you 7.50 per statement to print them out.
