Cooling Options

Hi all,

So I've got the Zalman Z3 case and it seems to be heating up quite a bit during certain games. Now, I'm pretty sure half the issue is my MoBo only allows me to plug in one fan, that being the fan on my Heat Sink. The case fans plug into the PSU cables direct, so I have no control over them. Is there a good after market cooling option, or should I look at maybe getting a new MoBo?

Case fans are easy to replace with PWM versions (assuming its a mobo with PWM), then just get a splitter (below) that way you can run them all off one header.

Great, thanks!! I'm now thinking, as they are always running at full speed anyway, clearly, they ain't doing enough cooling... May need to add either another fan to the Heat Sink on the other side, or upgrade case fans/ case!

First thing to check is the air flow. Is your cabling nice and tidy etc.

I've been putting that off for weeks, but have a cable tidy kit I just picked up on Amazon on the way, so that should help. The case doesn't lend itself to neat cabling sadly! (And my PSU isn't modular either, rookie mistake)
