So I went to Peru and Bolivia last year - absolutely loved the inca trail. Had the perfect balance of time with in/out cities.
So where to next? somewhere for about 1 month.
I would love to go to Tasmania but it is too far for a month - I will work it in with Oz and NZ sometime.

So here are the things i am looking for -
    - a good trek - 4-10 days maybe..
    - would go to south/central america or asia - never been east
    - considering nepal/tibet
    - anyone know of a good trek in vietnam? thailand?
    - would love off the beaten track if at all possible
    - somewhere beautiful - peaceful..
    - nice people - culture - food
    - when i decide a trek and country i can look into a trip - work in other stuff…
    - any one know where i might like?

    thanks..

Western Yunnan or western Szechuan provinces in China would give you the feel of Tibet without the monumental hassle of travel permits etc.

    - would love off the beaten track if at all possible - check
    - somewhere beautiful - peaceful.. - check
    - nice people - culture - food - check

I trekked in Sapa in Northern Vietnam last year. We only trekked for two/three days but could have gone for alot longer. Was very enjoyable - quite tough though but after trekking in Bolivia and Peru, it wouldn't be a problem.

Rainforest in Northern Sumatra (Indonesia) has some amazing trekking

Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen volcano parks in East Java (Indonesia) have some amazing trekking too.
