Hi all, going unreg for this. I recently turned 25, and have been living at home doing contract work here and there and unpaid internships (while not on SW) for the past two years since graduating from my Masters. Due to familial tensions at home and the loneliness of my small town I applied for a Job Bridge in Dublin, I got a reply in the same day asking me to interview next week (funny how when I apply for a job i don't hear back but when I apply for a job bridge I get a a response the same day!)

I'm a little confused about JB. I've been on SW for over 3 months now, the reacquired time, and my JSA has gone up to €155 since turning 25 (means tested as I'm living at home). So if I was to move to Dublin, would I be entitled to €180 plus the €50 top up? (I suppose that means I'd have to provide proof of address somehow to show I'd moved out right, have a feeling that will take months to clear!)

If I did get offered the position, my SW welfare office is down the country but I'd be based in Dublin - how do I get the JB scheme rolling, friends have had difficulty with admin losing their details, and failing to pay the top up for over a month. Is it typical that you wait for the institution to clear all the papers with SW/FAS first before starting? Do I inform my local office or will I be assigned a new one in Dublin? The contract is 9 months but despite having a good bit of experience (nothing more than 6 months), I'm finding it extremely difficult to get my career started and I am considering moving to Canada toward the end of the year but would like a bit more experience behind me just in case.

TIA guys, I know a lot of similar questions are asked here but I couldn't find one specific to my needs, I really appreciate those who take the time out to answer queries on this forum.
