    Okay so I meet the entry requirement of a course, 5 higher level passes.

    But I don't have enough points for said course. So I doubt it matters that I meet the requirements seen as I don't have enough points.

    Am I right?

    Yes, unless for some reason this year the only other people applying for the course also have just the minimum requirements - which is unlikely.

    Have you looked at courses in other parts of the country, or PLC courses that allow you to enter courses based on your FETAC results?
