Clutch on my 2002 vw golf 1.4 is gone and i am going to get some quotes from garages tomorrow - can someone give me a ballpark figure for clutch and replacing on this model that would be fair - I've heard figures from 300 to 1000 euros and I'm hoping it's at lower end of scale as I'm skint until I get paid in work next week.

I must of done tons of these down the years went through a phase of at least one a week last year George is right about 350 to 400. Just one the flywheel is ok but then again won't really know till the box is out. Anybody that's used to doing them should have the job done in about 3 hours. There a piece of cake to do for anybody that knows them
