Anyone ever use Dexpan for breaking bedrock?

Has anyone here used Dexpan for breaking bedrock? Someone said it can't be used on rock "in the ground", but I've seen directions online on how to cut a V channel with it. Long story short I need to go down if I want to build a dipping bath.

I did ask this yesterday, but then Bob went and broke the internet :(

On a more serious note, by the time you would cut or bore the rock a few times, would you be as Will get a lad in with a 120 and a breaker ?
