Thanks. The wifi doesn't work intermittently i.e. it's flaky. Could be resolved by a driver update or might need a new wireless adapter. It's a known issue that Lenovo haven't been forthcoming on a resolution.

In addition to the touch screen: the differences are a faster processor and a better (?) graphics card than the cheaper one.

I have the non-touch screen version for the past bout 5 months and no real issue with the wifi on it. Only time it's dropped the wifi so have other machines in the house so presumed it was more to do with the router than the laptop.

Anyway, I've found it's a good laptop to use on a normal day to day basis. Nice feel to it & haven't had any issues with it so far. Amazon I know had good deals on them when I was looking so might be worth having a look there too to see about prices.

Both have the same GPU, Nvidia 710M.
And it is a low end mobile GPU, i wouldn't be expecting huge differences from an integrated unless its the Haswell Processor.

Got the lappie yesterday evening. Not fond of Windows 8, but everything else is great.
