    hey, I'm getting to the age now where I should probably start thinking about my future, I was watching top gear on bbc 2 and just thought that's what I wanna do!! All the travelling and of course the cars. I did a bit of researching and discovered that all 3 of the lads started off as journalists. So this is my question. how would I get there?

    Become a barrister seems to be one route. Another is Nike... Just do it. Anyone I know personally who has had any success as a journalist has just started writing. Many fail, some succeed to some degree, 0.00001% are Jeremy Clarkson.

    There are many ways to get into media.

    I was offered a job reading the traffic reports on the radio. Many people go from radio to TV.

    Certainly you should go to college. Communications or Journalism would be good options.
