Hey im currently looking at moving club this month but does this mean i wont be able to play in the teams for the new club, do i need to have played 4 or more qualifying comps at my new club or does playing in my previous place count towards these?

Its pretty much the deal clincher as to moving or not, obviously i may not get onto a team but would at least like the chance to try out.

I thought it was 3 and not 4 qualifying comps but regardless of the number any qualifying comps will count (don't have to be at the new club). I changed club last year and was eligible to play in interclub team competitions for the new club despite only having played one open competition in it previously.

The new club may have some local rule in place stating that new members are not eligible to feature on interclub teams or win certain major's such as the captain's prize or golfer of the year so worth checking that with the potential new club in question.
